YWXZ is a parallelogram with diagonals that intersect at point S. If YS = 34 and SX = 2x – 10, find x.
Solution:-
In a parallelogram the diagonals bisect each other.
So YS = SX and WS = SZ.
YS = 34 , and SX = 2x – 10
Put the given value in YS = SX
34 = 2x – 10 =>2x = 34 + 10
2x = 44 => x = 22
So the value of x = 22
