Transformations of a system
The following transformations can be applied to a system of equations to get an equivalent system:
a. Exchanging any two equations;
b. Multiplying both sides of an equation by any nonzero real number,
c. Replacing any equation by a nonzero multiple of that equation plus a nonzero multiple of any other equation.
