A null and alternative hypothesis are give. Determine whether the hypothesis test is left-tailed, right-tailed, or two-tailed.

H₀ : µ ≤ 13

H_a : µ > 13

If the alternative hypothesis contain the not-equal-to inequality symbol, then it is a two-tailed test. If the alternative hypothesis contain the less-then inequality symbol, then it is a left-tailed test. If the alternative hypothesis contain the greater-than inequality symbol, then it is a right-tailed test.

Since the alternative hypothesis, H_a, has a greater- than inequality symbol, the hypothesis test is a right-tailed test.
