What is the distance between points P(10, 7) and Q(1, 8)?

Solution:-

Use the Distance Formula

$d = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2}$

$d = \sqrt{(1-10)^2+(8 -7)^2}$

$d = \sqrt{81+1}$

$d = \sqrt{82}$
