What is the distance between points P(6, -2) and Q(3, 4)?

Solution:-

Use the Distance Formula

$d = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2}$

$d = \sqrt{(3-6)^2+(4-(-2))^2}$

$d = \sqrt{9+36}$

$d = \sqrt{45}$

$d = 3\sqrt{5}$
