ABCD is a parallelogram. If AE is equal to 3b + 1 and EC is equal to 2b + 5, find the length of AE.
Solution:-
In a parallelogram AE = EC
3b + 1 = 2b + 5
b + 1 = 5
b = 4
3(4) + 1 = 13
