FACTORING TRINOMIAL SQUARES

FACTORING TRINOMIAL SQUARES

A2 + 2AB + B2 = (A + B)2;

A2 – 2AB + B2 = (A – B)2

We consider 3 to be a square root of 9 because 3 = 9. Similarly, A is a square root of A. We use square roots of the squared terms and the sign of the remaining term to factor a trinomial square.
