**FACTORING TRINOMIAL SQUARES**

** **

A^{2} + 2AB + B^{2} = (A + B)^{2};

A^{2} – 2AB + B^{2} = (A – B)^{2}

We consider 3 to be a square root of 9 because 3 = 9. Similarly, A is a square root of A. We use square roots of the squared terms and the sign of the remaining term to factor a trinomial square.
