The Lawn Problem.  Dan, Shelly, and Kirby worked together sodding a lawn.  Together they earned 4,000. Dan worked 40 hours, Shelly worked 25 hours, and Kirby worked 15 hours. How should they divide the money? <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><b>Solution</b></span> Total hours = 40 + 25 + 15 = 80 They earned per hours =2000/80 = 50 Dan worked 40 hours so His earning = 40*50 =2000

Shelly worked 25 hours so her earning =25*50 = 1250 Kirby worked 15 hours so her earning = 15*50 =750
