given figure  is right square pyramid with equilateral triangular faces

here base is half of total side length = 6/2 =3

so we can apply Pythagorean theorem

d² + 3² = 6²

d² + 9 = 39

d² = 36 – 9

d² = 27

d=√27

d=3√3
