What is the equation of the ellipse with foci (0, 3), (0, -3) and co-vertices (1, 0), (-1, 0)?

Solution:-

Use the standard equation $\frac{ x ^2}{b^2}+\frac{y^2}{a^2} = 1$

$\frac{ x ^2}{1}+\frac{y^2}{10} = 1$
