Solve the proportion by using whichever method you think is the easiest.

\frac{x}{3} = \frac{x + 10}{6}

 

Solution

 

X * 6 = 3(x + 10)

6x – 3x + 30

6x – 3x = 30

3x = 30

X = \frac{30}{3}

X = 10
